I don't have the car anymore. But the paint was still fine when I switched to an up gti in March this year. You shouldn't need to worry about it being water based paint as they should clear coat over the top.

Just so I could compare it to the cost of repainting I asked the dealer for the price of a new wheel and they said £532

I have the Anthracite Montani wheels on my BlueGT. Does anyone know any info on the paint code or similar for the anthracite ones. Or a company that can fix them and are able to match the colour as the guy that I have used before cannot match the colour.

That clears it up. In conjunction with the above query is it correct that the numbers on my dials don't light up position 1. All the button on the radio and steering wheel do.

I have Xenons in my Blue GT and was just wanting to check if mine are working as they should. As when I have the headlights on and select reverse gear or turn a corner additional light in the headlight clusters come one. What I want to check though is when I move the headlight switch to 1st position...

I have been out in the dark and when I turn the lights to the first position all the steering wheel and radio buttons light up but not the dials. The needles are lit up but nothing else until I actually turn on the xenons.

I have had my Blue Gt for a couple of months now and I have noticed that when I turn the sidelights on the instrument dials do not illuminate is this normal?
