As far as the Quadlock goes, i'm pretty sure the MDI will connect to the wires that the AUX will connect to as well. So you can have both, but you'll need to re-route the Aux to the MDI. Then it will work fine. I found the a schematic of the connector on the MDI unit and is has AUX L/R/ground pins....
