Your rpm while idle is normal when cold. The smell is normal too because the catalyst hasn't become warm and in some way it doesn't do its job.

Has any1 seen or got a picture of the 9N Dimmed tail-lights?? im looking for a sort of OEM style dark ones, but cant seem to find much?!? or does any1 know if you can fit MK7 style ones with an wiring adaptor instead of cutting through the wiring? I have those headlights in black. You mentined painting black the half of the reflectors of the OEM headlights. Well... Forget it!!!
