Re: Weird noises

Either engine coolant circulating or the aircon doing the same. It’s completely normal.

Re: New GTI + delivery

Hi All, Greetings from The Netherlands. Just registered to the forum. I have been reading the forum for some time now. I learned a lot, thanks to everyone who shared information. I envy you guys, having this app and showing you all kind of info about your new car. We don't have that here in The Net...

Re: New GTI + delivery

Didn't want to pop balloons but don't get too excited about the exhaust. All rather subtle. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk It's nice and deep though, I can always hear mine unless the radio is on loudish (I have disabled my Soundakotor with OBDeleven) and with the windows open (like this love...

Ride Qaulity Polo BlueGT

I don’t think steering wheel is off centre as if I drive on the other side of the road it does the same but in opposite direction? And if I drive down the middle of the road it drives dead straight! So where is the problem again!? If it drives straight when you’re on the middle of the road, but hav...

Re: New GTI + delivery

Wait what? Are you sure? The 2019 model is supposedly too quiet due to the GPF. I haven’t driven one in forever, so I totally forgot what it sounds like in the 2019 spec. I’m picking mine up next Monday! Even GPF version does burp etc. just not as uch as pre-GPF :)   That is a...

Re: Apple car play disconnects

I haven’t but the car is in for it’s first service end of July so I might demand a replacement cable then. Or just use any Apple Lightning cable, the one you use to charge your phone in the house for example, so you can see if it is the cable or not and so you can use Carplay in the meantime if it ...

Re: New GTI + delivery

Are you noticing that as you put more miles on that the sound is maturing too? It could be placebo but I'm sure mine burbles a bit more, and deeper, than when I first got it. Mine has only 30 miles on the clock so far and I'm enjoying the sound very much. Yes, the soundacktor is playing a part in i...

Re: Polo AW Photo Gallery

Really don't know why I was on the fence over this colour, it's absolutely the best choice (in my opinion) on the Polo GTI. Only the plain white with black roof gets close to it, it just came back from the detailers getting a ceramic coat that will hopefully last a few years. To my understanding ev...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

Hi guys I am looking for some advice. It sure if this is the right thread for this but I am new here and still finding my way around I have just bought 2015 polo gti and I absolutely love it. But reading through polo net I have read lots off threads about earlier 6c polo gti's having turbo issues w...

Ordered mid March this year, scheduled to arrive the first week of July.

LHD, built to my spec. I think I got the sweet spot just between the switch from Spain to South Africa

Re: 2019 R-Line - Engine Rusting!

If the high power consumption warning keeps appearing and stop start doesn’t work when you’re not using anything to drain the battery, that suggests your battery might not be holding its charge (either faulty battery or alternator maybe?). Might be one to get checked out by the dealer. Also to add ...

Re: 2019 lead times

Ordered my Polo GTI end of November and it was available for delivery on the 15th May, although I didn't take it until the end of the month, so 5-6 months to the UK seems to be the rate for new build, only done 80 miles in it so far - but so far so good :D lucky to get yours so quick. By any chance...

I doubt that. The 7 speed is most likely reserved for the Golf GTI, as the Polo would easily tread on the Golfs feet with an extra gear.
