So is the £50 res-delete I did on mine.
Best bang for your buck.
Doing the cat alone will do nothing, so long as the GPF is further down the exhaust flow.

Re: Anyone had forced GPF regens yet?
Ja I have a few more images and no where can I see any probes or sensors after the "bulk" thing :P I wonder if they didnt leave out the GPF in SA models to keep the cost down locally... since out air pollution isnt a problem for Government. Your car definitely has the GPF/OPF! The big bul...

Re: Long Term Ownership.
I have an early produced GTI (DSG) and while the car is fun to drive the amounts of issues I’ve had with it has had me seriously doubt whether I’d get another VW again. DSGs jerkiness at stop&go traffic. Moo’ing brakes on reverse Sound actor rattles Unknown rattle from rear compartment GPF regen...

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
It sounds really good.. the problem is that it is not legal without the middle resonator :( Well, it’s so quiet even without the resonator - no one will ever notice. I have a resonator delete on my GTI, sounds just like the Milltek, but cost £50 to do. It brings out a lot more character of the car,...

Re: Polo gti mods
I'm really considering the Milltek non-resonated system for mine, the only thing which is stopping me is I can't find any definitive answers on drone. I imagine it isn't that intrusive, but would be nice to hear from someone who has it to confirm. OPF, Res delete, stock rear exhaust. It does drone ...

Re: External Exhaust Sound
I'm pretty sure the gearbox in S changes not only the shift points but also the characteristics of the change. I can definitely hear more *pppprrrddlllop* when changing in sport compared to normal mode.

Re: Polo gti mods
I've done the res delete on my OPF 2019 GTI, best decision I ever made. It sounds so much better now with proper DSG pops, overrun etc.
You can still hear the OPF putting a lid on things, as much of the sounds has a muted sound to it.

Re: Exhaust valve and aftermarket exhaust
So was it a straight swap - pipe for the middle section with no cutting or welding, just unclamping and reclamping to the front and rear sections? How much did you pay and did you fit yourself? Sorry I havn't gotten a chance to answer you before. Did it myself, but rented a car lift at a DIY-garage...

Re: Exhaust valve and aftermarket exhaust
^ Thanks for that. I didn't notice any difference on mine (Jun 2018) between the modes - now it's confirmed why. I do wonder whether the middle section is common to models with and without GPF? As the middle section is clamped both ends, should be easy/cheapto do a res delete without any welding by...

Re: Dashboard Plastic Rattles from flex
I’ve had the rattle dash since delivery day.
Dealers fix was to turn down the soundaktor (fake engine noise puck). Didn’t fix it...
I turned it off with OBD2 eventually, which did fix it...
No amount of whacks and smacks will fix it...

Re: Anyone had forced GPF regens yet?
I bought an Obdeleven dongle and installed the software. A bit of a pain to get it to connect. But in the end I was able to read out the particle filter status. 300mg of soot, and last regen corresponding to when I took the car to the garage in Dijon. So I will now be able to do regular readouts an...

Re: GTI DSG creep
Do you experience any kind of jerkiness in your DSG? Mine is acting up. No jerkiness as such. Nothing different to normal anyway. 3rd to 2nd is a little odd, but I've got used to it. Car prefers to feather second gear a lot when decelerating instead of fully engaging the gear. I've tried locking it...
