Re: H&R or Eibach? Lowering Springs for BlueGT
Going to make your decision more difficult... sorry. I got the 55/35 H&R springs on my BlueGT and the car sits perfectly and generally isn't too harsh a ride. Notice the stiffness on some big bumps but generally the car rides pretty smooth.

Re: 6c Blue GT Decat
I'm going ahead with the decat! The guy is building and fitting the downpipe for £200 at the expense of the factory downpipe! But I'm going to buy a second hand one for trading the car in when I put it back to standard. Also declared it on my insurance and they aren't asking for any extra.

Re: 6c Blue GT Decat
I got a message back from the guy and he said he would need to use the flange from the original cat/downpipe meaning I couldn't keep the original to change back for trade in...

6c Blue GT Decat
Has anyone had their Blue GT decatted? With/without map?
Did you get it custom built or was a downpipe from another VAG model also suitable for it? (Golf mk7 1.4tsi act?)
Really want mine decatted but cant find one anywhere online... might need to get a custom one made up!

Blue GT and GTI exhaust
I'm considering upgrading from my blue GT to the 1.8tsi GTI.
Does anyone know if the exhaust from the cat back is the same? Because I got a custom Catback exhaust built for the blue GT and want to know if it will also fit on to the new GTI?

Re: Blue GT induction kit?
The engine is different from the 6R GTI, the layout is different.
I ended up ordering metal tubes from autosiliconehoses.com and measured it up and made one myself!
It wasn't too difficult! I have pictures of it and a screenshot of all the parts I ordered!

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Did some research and apparently old Audi S4's used to have ko3's on them and one was running around 350bhp... So surely they could cope with 270/280.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of power we can get out of this new 1.8tsi!
Polo's will absolutely smoke ST's and VXR's!

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
What do you think the 1.8tsi will be running if it has a decat downpipe, high flow exhaust, cold intake and intercooler? Along with a stage 2 map?
I know it's not out yet just wondering what people think the potential is? Could it be close to 300bhp? (Manual btw! Not DSG)

Turn off "ACT" Blue GT?
Does anyone know of any ways of turning off the cylinder deactivation on the blue GT? Just got an exhaust system installed and I hate the sound of it!

Blue GT induction kit?
Has anyone came accross any induction kits that are suitable for the Blue GT engine bay setup? Or even if you have got a universal kit and managed to get it positioned well?
Pics would also be ideal if you have any

Re: Few problems straight out the show room :( (bluegt)
1. That's the coolant temp. gauge if you are referring to this one:

90'C is the optimum operating temperature of the coolant - no issues there.
2. Do check the fuse. Being a brand new car, I wouldn't suspect a bad harness or component, but do check the fuse ...

Few problems straight out the show room :( (bluegt)
Just picked up my bluegt today and it drives perfect and I love it!
Sadly had two problems and will be taking it into back to the dealer tomorrow and hopefully they will be easy to repair but was wondering if anyone else has had the same?
