Re: Handbrake playing up again!

Not waiting again after last time for the seatbelt fix it took ages. I will leave it there and come back at 5pm! Only so much coffee and wandering around a showroom you can tolerate. Just got home, I was promised 1hr and of course it took 1hr 30mins... classic. My car never went in for a seatbelt r...

Re: Composition Media forgetting settings / stopping shuffle

hard to disagree! They never did fix mine. I've since moved on to polo 1.0 95se 68 reg, and android auto. Seems a bit better, but still android auto has it's own problems especially with huawei phones

Re: Handbrake playing up again!

I have just got a recall letter in the post Safety Recall - 46H9 - Parking Brake ...affected Polo vehicles with rear drum brake the operation-related movement of the brake shoes and the related settling of the drum brake can lead to a loss of tension on the handbrake cables and therefore on the adju...

Re: 1.0tsi (95bhp) MPG

I got this car last week, drove to london and back from newcastle the very next day... averaged about 50mpg on the way there, and about 58 on the way back. I was watching it all the way home trying to crack 60 but can't do it haha! Maybe next time. I was driving around 75 the whole time apart from a...

Re: Recall - rear seat belt

Re: Recall - rear seat belt

Just put my VIN number into VW website for recalls, says they are none. I'm picking up a new 1.0 TSI 95 tomorrow. If anyone needs any photos or anything of this seatbelt thing let me know what you need and i'll be happy to take a snap if people need comparison or something

Re: Handbrake

If you park on a really steep hill, it's not that advisable to rely on the handbrake alone anyway. Get used to leaving it in gear as well and/or turn the front wheels so, if it does let go, the car will only roll a few inches before bumping into the kerb. Hmm... it's a steep driveway, just about 2 ...

Re: Handbrake

I am picking up a new 1.0tsi 95 se next week.... are people really saying the handbrake doesn't hold?! I park on a really steep hill at one of the studios I work at, and my 1.4TDI (15 plate) clicks forward a little and then seems to lock in place no problem...I always pull the handbrake and then dan...

Re: 1.4TDI bluemotion, engine temperature overheat warning

Hey guys I have a 2015 1.4 TDI SE and I also had a failed water pump. The temperature would rise to max, but never got a warning the car just felt sluggish. They changed the water pump under the warranty. I think i was at around 20k miles at the time. I'm now at 40k and i'm worried to read that it l...

Re: 1.4 TDI 6c owners... anyone had one since launch?

I would love to search but the phrase 1.4 TDI is too common and the search is blocked, even with quotes! I found one thread about the water pump... I got mine changed under warranty... but some people are saying it happens again and again.... that's all I've found so far

1.4 TDI 6c owners... anyone had one since launch?

As per title. I'm toying with the idea of keeping my 2015 car after PCP come May next year... It's super frugal, road tax free for life, my monthly payments will drop a bit if i pay the remainder off over three years using personal loan... Basically wondering if anyone got one before 2015, and has h...

Re: App Connect

Just wanted to say there's loads of good info in here regarding App Connect, so thanks to all posters. I'll always regret getting my car in May 2015!!! Bastards. I'm toying with the idea of keeping the car after these 4 years of solutions are up, so if I do, I'll be looking at getting Android Auto s...

Re: UK configurator and brochure / price list available

I'm currently driving a 1.4 TDI Polo SE... and I love it. It's so cheap to run! My first car. I was convinced to come in and talk about upgrading to a Polo Match a few months ago... but then heard rumour about this model. But looking so far, it seems expensive and not all that great. The Polo Match ...

Re: Composition Media Unit Skip to Next/Previous Track

Mine does EXACTLY the same thing. Forgers where it was, randomly freezes and track skip becomes unresponsive.. I took mine to the dealer today because of a recall, something to do with 1.4 tdi diesel, the brake servo having to be replaced and some heat mat... I mentioned the problems with the compos...
