Cool, i thought that could be a possibility, will have to wait until tomorrow to get some resistance readings from across the fan, hopefully it will be a break in one of the wires.

Right, pressure sensor checks out fine and I'm getting sensible readings through VCDS. Spent a day at college with the help of a tutor and found one of the wires at the radiator temp. sensor plug had corroded and broken and a bad earthing point, repaired both of these. Having a look by myself ...

OK, when I'm testing the pressure sensor, what sort of figures should I be looking for?
