Re: New GTI

I've started getting a little pop the first time I change from Media to Radio or vice versa after starting the car up. I know that there was a guy on here who's Polo went into the garage regarding this....I just want to check if it means anything other than there literally potentially just being a s...

Re: New GTI

DTUK offer it on their website for £429.99.

You've had it a few weeks now haven't you Polocks? Is 248bhp in a Polo feeling as crazy as it should?

Re: New GTI

agreed, I also find that ride is better the faster you're going.People who say it was to jarring was this at low speeds 30mph? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've enjoyed the sport button as well when I've used it - definitely agree about it being better the faster you're going. How are you get...

Re: New GTI

Fake engine noise in cabin with the sport button I agree. The exhaust note with sport button pressed and hard acceleration is lovely. This would mainly only be heard from the outside obviously or with windows down. Sent from my SM-G800F using Tapatalk agreed, I also find that ride is better the fas...

Re: New GTI

Anyone else getting a bit of a squeak (or another very high pitched noise) when gently breaking or rolling in low gears whilst in traffic? Obviously assuming it's due to how new everything is but would have hoped 300 miles would have sorted it out...

Re: New GTI

ive done some tests today on a few different modes, and yes there is a more pull for sure! i was getting used to the power, but today I got that feeling of your head being pulled back. I was hoping it might add more power low down but so far, on the maps i have tested slightly it seems to be more m...

Re: New GTI

What's the best way of demisting the rear windows - not the windscreen? They don't appear to have a fan on them at all so do you just have to wait for them to clear naturally as you're driving...?

Re: New GTI

A few pics of my silk blue, manual GTI that I collected yesterday, only done about 90 miles so far but really enjoying the drive and how deceptively quick the car is. http://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc372/unitedrwb/B7A822B0-D8A5-4A31-8887-CC946D4739C9_zps763tefio.jpg http://i1208.photobucket.com...

Jesus, that looks like a hell of a gain. If there is any way of being certain that it's undetectable I'll be after one of those for sure.

Re: New GTI

Mine is in transit, expecting 2/3 weeks before being able to arrange collection. Even gave the garage a clean out today in preparation of the new arrival :D I've read that the 1 year insurance is still running, but also read that you can't protect your NCD? Is everyone getting the free insurance fo...

Re: New GTI

Mine go's for build tomorrow another 4/5 week wait [emoji53][emoji53] any one planning mod's ??? Am tempted by a tuning box - as long as it's definitely not detectable (once removed) by VW.. Am worried if I get a remap and something goes wrong I will have a huge bill! Apparently a tuning box should...
