Re: Gti tuning box
Been running mine for just over a year and it's honestly been one of the best £400 I've spent. Makes a huge difference to the car both in terms of performance and economy (on a 6C GTI). It feels much quicker, they certainly aren't exaggerating with the BHP & Torque figures given, 0-60 is noticea...

Re: New GTI
I have H&R 35/55's and I like the ride. Some people I've had as passengers do think it's too bumpy though in fairness.

Supposedly... Road tests have shown the manual hitting 0-62 in around half a second quicker from what I remember?Andy4791 wrote:The performance figures exactly the same, its just to protect dsg internals

Re: 6c GTI lowering springs
Looking at getting these bought in the next couple of days, have checked out eBay and Awesome GTI and I'm assuming that most people seem to be recommending Awesome GTI then? Anywhere else worth checking? Looking at the Awesome GTI site, am I right in thinking it would be the heavier [930kg instead o...

Re: What colour 6c GTI have you got?
Shocked that the blue is joint leading this so far, barely anyone on here seemed to go for it. Most of the ones pictured seem to be white and I've only seen white & black ones on my travels (my blue one aside).

Re: first car
My advice - and you probably won't want to hear it sorry - would be to keep your money and spend it on things for your next car. Ultimately, while first cars are loved and cherished, they do generally get the odd knock here or there even if you're a very accomplished driver - and you've already got ...

Think I've ran mine exclusively on Momentum for the 5 months I've had it, it's an excellent fuel and you get Clubcard points. Everyones a winner.

Re: New GTI
Gave my GTI a good clean, decontamination and wax over the last couple of days. Dealer prep prior to picking it up on 1st March was OK-ish but not not brilliant. I'm happy with it now. A few pictures; Looks good, nice to see another Silk Blue one on here. Mines a 3 door with the Parabolica alloys, ...

Jeez, that's not good mate. Hope it gets sorted ASAP, sure we've driven past one another three or four times in the last couple of weeks. Is yours silk blue? If so we have! Repairer has picked it up already so shouldn't be too long before I get it back hopefully. Got a Golf TDI til then. Sent from ...
