49. Polo GTI.

Don't quite get all this hate for the Car-Net app. I was advised, for the 'paltry sum of £100', to go for it. It's obviously software based so as new features become available they'll be uploaded as firmware updates. I'd certainly rather have it on the car than not.

Found moving the fader forward made the vocals stand out a bit more , dropped the bass one notch so now crisper less boomy. I listen to lots of different stuff. Ok thought I'd do a bit of an update on how I'm goin with the car. Loosened up nicely, do need a few good runs though but stuck around town at moment. My long-term mpg is 29.5 at min lol. Surely I'm not that lead footed. Still have squeak on low speed braking, and also when pulling away from lights...

Here are a few snaps of my car. Picked it up late on Thursday afternoon last week and it's rained ever since! :( 3-door manual in Reflex Silver, with Convenience Pack, CarNet App and Carbon mirror caps. iPod connected no problem. I reckon it sounds better through the system than playing music off the phone via Bluetooth. :) I've thought that too, plus album art shows on screen without having to mess around with pixel size. Just wish the ipod would connect in the glove box like on the previous GTI....

Am I right in thinking that the sound system is set up with the really annoying system that automatically adjusts the volume depending on how fast/slow you go?
