Re: Help !! Why is the inside of my car soaked ?
Funny how I have the same problem. Except I flooded my boot. My rear washer was blocked and I kept my finger on the washer button hoping to force the blockage free, instead it forced the hose to come off a connector in the side wall where the rear passenger would pull the seat belt down from. I was ...

Re: whoops.... been a muppet!
I've done something to my car and the outcome is similar. :? I tried to power a hair drier via a DC to 240V AC power inverter and it seems to have messed up my head unit and cig lighter. Before it both used to work when the ignition is off, now they both dont work when the ignition is off nor when i...

Re: insurance on a VW polo 1.0 P reg
Oh, talking of no claims, I dont know much about new licenses and the limited points for the first few months/years business, but it REALLY isn't worth getting caught speeding. I was really stupid when I first got my car, and was stupidly trying to hit my top speed  NOT a good idea, cos it mean...

It looks like you're missing an engine cover, that should be something to get if u can find one for cheap. You can spray it any colour you want before putting it on. :D Personally, I like orange indicators (front and rear) and side repeaters on a red Polo. Its kinda like how the TME Evo V was with o...

Re: Interior Air Vent
Generally just rip it out lol. I basically just followed this! Though, the head moves up and down and its the "blinds" that moves the air from left to right. So I pushed it as far upwards as I can hoping the head would pop out, but the whole vent came out. The you have to follow the...

Just stay on the provisional! LOL
Umm... I think Norwich Union or Direct Line.
What you'd do is probably have your mum/dad as a first driver on your car, and insure you as a 2nd driver.
And you both build up no claims.... I think

So it'll be cheaper to stay on a provisional?
Oh yeah, these days some insurance companies are offering No Claims Bonuses on 2ndary named drivers, so that may be something to look at.

Interior Air Vent
More specifically the passenger side air vent.
Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to take out the part of the air vent that swivels and goes up and down?

Re: Central Locking Pumps
I bought a c/l pump on ebay which says for "Corrado Golf VR6 GTI" and the pump only has the code 1H0 962 257 with no suffix letter (and has an 11 pin connector) The pump has a thin outlet pipe as opposed to the mushroom shaped ones http://i4.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/50/92/4841_1.JPG If anyone ...

Ok, thanks.
If its significantly cheaper to send it 2nd class I dont mind either. I'm in no rush as I've got a temporary fix on.
