How much for cambelt kit & labour? 1.4 16v
Hey all
Its time for a cambelt change, it's got 57k and its time to get it done for piece of mind.
I have been quoted £330 for a cambelt kit & water pump, fitted. What you think of this price?
Thanks
Franco

Re: missfire low rpm only, ht leads, coil pack, plugs all replace
Little update
I removed and cleaned all my spark plugs with a wire brush, they where black and covered in carbon, this could cause the missfire and suggests the car is running rich. How would you lean it out or is there a better way other than leaning it out?
Thanks

missfire low rpm only, ht leads, coil pack, plugs all replace
Hey hoping for some pointers with this. FAULT = misfire at low rpm below 2000 only, when idle every 10 seconds or so the revs will drop slightly but not enough to cut out PARTS REPLACED = coil pack, ht leads, spark plugs, all so sprayed wd40 directly into carb at full throttle. Also removed and clea...

Hey
will the below spec fit a mk5 polo? offset is the main concern as not sure if they would fit the car.
15 inch diameter, 7 inch wide, offset 25, the center bore is 57.1, 4 stud.
Thanks in advance

Re: engine management light on. car stutter between 1 & 3000 rpm
Hey alexperkins
I fitted the new pipe and it has solved about 99% of the problem but there is sometimes a small stutter. Whats the oil return valve on the back of the block? how do I check this?
thanks
