Unfortuanatelty I have moved away from the Polo into a 4 series as I needed a bigger car and something more powerful than a 1.2 60hp Polo hahah...

Re: Ex-Police 6R GTI

I'm surprised the police even used Polo GTi's as patrol cars, is this a car from Dorset Police?

False floor

As I have the Polo S, it did not come with the adjustable boot floor that you can raise and lower. How hard would it be to retrofit this to the car? I quite like the idea of having it however I have no idea what is needed to do this.

Re: Anti-Corrosion warranty.

The car is a 2010 however I'm not sure where it was manufactured and how to find this out. I was thinking about upgrading to a Scirocco sometime next year but after all the messing around I've done so far I don't think I'll be buying a used VAG car unless they decide to get their act together. I def...

Re: Anti-Corrosion warranty.

Quick update, I received a call from a woman at VW HQ. She was very nice, however explained that VW will only offer a 50% goodwill contribution as it is edge and fold rust which is not covered under the 12 year anti-corrosion warranty but rather the 3 year warranty. I was having none of it and told ...

Anti-Corrosion warranty.

Hi Guys, I noticed some small bubbling on the passenger side rear wheel arch. I assumed this would be covered by the 12 year anti-corrosion warranty offered by VW. I took the car into my local dealership who took some photos of the car and told me that they would have the car inspected. I was visite...

Re: 6RPotentialBuyers Candy White Polo S

So, I haven't really been all that active in doing mods to the car. I finally sourced some gloss black trim from a breaking Polo GTI 6R and side air vents from a GTI 6C. I couldn't source a gloss black light switch trim/surround but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm very happy with this small mod...

RCD330 Review (Pic heavy)

I've finally got around to writing a review of the RCD330 ICE system that I bought from Aliexpress for £80~ I've used the product for the past 6 months, so here is a detailed review of it :) Please note that this is the standard version, there is a version with Apple CarPlay but it is more expensive...

Re: Upgrade from RCD210 to RCD310 for AUX input

Hi, I have just tried to carry out this upgrade but the aux cable I bought doesn't fit. The white part that goes into the quadlock is too big for some reason. Please could you link the one you used? Hi Amrit, Here's the eBay number for the exact item I used. 122370072733 Just copy and paste that nu...

Woah I never knew the Polo had this feature! My 2010 Polo S doesn't have this. Is it only on higher spec cars?

Just a quick update, I've been quoted £930 for the repair and it is now being processed through the insurance company.
