Re: One touch on wrong side

Given up, reprogramming didn't work and I'm not stripping it all down for that.
I'm sure I can struggle on without 1 touch drivers window.

Re: New purchase. What checks to do.

I would start off with the usual service items, but most importantly check the age of the timing belt and replace unless you are sure it is still good. +1 Like you I bought a 500 quid job for eldest son, it ended up surviving 2 sons but guess who's ended up with it! and no, I don't love it. Re: One touch on wrong side

Didn't work for me, am I sposed to do anything with the ignition during this process?
Should it have 1 touch on both sides or driver only?

One touch on wrong side

Think this might have been discussed before,
Window '1-touch' on N/S but not drivers.
Fault?

Re: Arosa 1 piece exhaust

All done, cut the pipe on the car rather than try and disturb the nasty looking joint behind the cat.
Bit fiddly but done worse.
Joint leaks a bit, don't know what's considered acceptable.
Used to use Gun Gum in the bad old days.

Arosa 1 piece exhaust

Back box has gone.
All I can find online is centre & rear sections
Mine is a VW stamped 1 piece.
Is this a case of cut & clamp the new rear on?

Re: 1.0 MPI new oil leak

That wasn't too bad, but then I've been in training with Tdci turbo oil feed pipes.

Oil Separator 036103464G, commonly available but I can't find the seals anywhere.
The O-ring is just an O-ring, about 60x4 ought to do it.
Is the D shaped rubber seal a part?

Re: 1.0 MPI new oil leak

Bit like the D/S from underneath then.
I'll have a go when I've finished drilling door frames.

Re: 1.0 MPI new oil leak

Access looks OKish from underneath but I can't tell what's going on above it.
Is there a physical connection to the manifold?
