It definitely looks like a shim of some sort because if its bending shape.

The play is in the steering from left to right and back, and not the column itself. Column is firmly fixed in place.

It definitely has the look of a shim about it.

The play is left to right and not the actual column itself.

Help ID'ing piece left over from Pedal Box

Hi there. So I replaced the dreaded Pedal Box (those two bolts are all people said they would be) with a new one and we have a little issue now.

Anyhow, after we finished there is a tiny bit of play in the steering wheel that was not there before hand. We (brother and I) think it has something to ...
