Re: Polo gti 6C drivers seat

I think they can order you the actual seat cover for the base of your seat already made up - not the fabric that would then need to be made into a seat cover.

I have no idea what the cost would be, but at least it should be a perfect match for the driver’s seat backrest and the other seats in ...

Hi everyone,

I have a Polo GTI 2016 and I singed my drivers seat, it's not a hole but one of the stitched lines have been broken, does anyone know of any seat re-upholsterers? As there is no hole, all I'd need to do is replace the cloth on the seat, or would it be cheaper/better to replace the ...

Re: New GTI

I'm not sure whether this is just poor design or a faulty instrument cluster, in bright conditions when the light switch is at '0' the instrument cluster with speedo etc is illuminated quite brightly, but when it becomes overcast or I go into an underground car park, the instrument cluster stops ...

I ordered mine through Neva Direct, I wanted to get under a certain budget so the options had to stay away :P

Re: New GTI

For all you guys in the build/transit stage, will you wait a month or so to get registered on the 16 plate or just take the car as a 15 plate?

Re: New GTI

Unless the manufacturer attested to covering any warranty claim if VW didn't pay because of the box, wouldnt even bother touching it! Blown turbo and imagine them checking the logs and refusing to cover, what would you do? Take them to court? Even in court it would be fairly obvious with historical ...

Re: GTI Waiting times

Ordered mine just before Christmas and my build week has been scheduled for 18th January which is tomorrow :D , although I had no choice for options as the broker already had a build spot booked for base model vehicle.

Re: New GTI

Do you think it's worth a buy over a map? I don't know weather to get it mapped or not due to warranty
I don't know sorry mate - never had a car mapped. I went with the box due to the warranty situation.

With the DTUK box aren't VW able to download the vehicle data/history to see increases in ...

Re: Newbie! Gti just ordered

I went with Neva Direct too, agreed the sales agent I've had has been a lot more helpful and less pushy than what I experienced at Select Contracts (deal fell through as they chose to allocate my reserved car to someone else)

Hopefully the car is delivered in March as planned!

Re: Newbie! Gti just ordered

Snap! Also have the solid black 3 door Gti with no options on order, I wonder if we used the same lease company as mine is also due in March - if not might end up on the same boat!

My deal is slightly different with a lower price (lower mileage as I don't do that many miles!)
