Tonight I checked the vacuum from the brake servo to the intake and it looked fine, I couldn't find any leaks. What else could I try?

Thanks for all of your help guys. Instead of taking it to VW I'll give the vacuum hoses a check over myself haha

That's something I could look into, but that wouldn't affect the revs would it? And it would be pulling itself forward all the time?

VW have apparently checked the whole car out and can't fault it, but I'll double check all the hoses just to make sure.

My girlfriend has a Polo 6R 1.2 TDi and there is a problem with the car. Sometime under braking the car pulls itself forward and jerks, with the revs shooting up. Also when coming to a stop, braking and pressing the clutch the revs shoot upto around 2k, and only when the brake is released ...
