I found when i took out my insurance for my Polo 5dr 1.0 is that when i said i was working at a bank (which i am now), the quote was halved!

Apparantly being employed affected the quotes i received quite a fair bit with lots of companies.

And like someone said, the small companies will offer ...

Thanks guys for the tips.

Yeh, i have been thinking of upgrading my battery to a more powerful one in my car as i also have a sub and amp in the car which rinses the power, its causing my lights to dip and dashboard lights to go on and off slightly lol.

So yup, i think i will upgrade the battery ...

alrite...i have a really weird problem in my Polo i wish i could resolve...if somebody can help me this would be great.

I have an alarm that i bought from Singapore and had it fitted in my car 1 year ago...Everything was fine until just 2-3 months back....

Tried dis-alarming my car alarm oneday ...

I bought my alarm from Flea-bay for abt £45 odd, came with a Shock Sensor and has an Ultrasonic movement detector which is nice.

Main thing is that it works, is cheap and keeps idiots away from my car. What i didn't know was that it costed me £130 for the fitting lol.

I've got some Pioneer 6.5" TS-A117C in my front doors, i want to get the same ones in the rear of the car fitted if i can, thinking where to get them though.

I've got the £££ but i wanna spend spareingly now because my dads getting a bit irritated with all the cash im forking out on my Polo to mod it up lol, what can i do its addictive! LOL :D

I'd rather spend £100 on getting the Car lowered than to get the Angel eyes although i'd like to get both ...

I'll post some pics of my rear lights hopefully later this week if i can, yeh ... the lights still shine through and everything as normal.

The reverse light and everything works great even though i've put more than 2 coats over the rear lights. The best thing is when you go close to the rear lights ...

Where did you get your side indicators from? Are they crystal clear ones or just clear type ones? How much you pick 'em up for?

Nah mate!!! DEAD EASY!

What i did was put some cellotape around the outside of both my rear lights, den stuck loads of newspaper around each rear light and a bit of paper around the light ... you have to make sure that wen you put the newspaper on its taped down properly n stuff, just to make sure ...

All done ... i went to an Auto shop just down the road and bought some Black tint spray...looks perfect now since the car is black too, saves me spending £100 on new rear lights then =)

I'll post some pics of the car sometime.

Hey carmadaaron, that guys Polo in that pic with the black lights looks mad :D

I was thinking of getting the Black rear lexus style lights for my MK4 Polo but they're currently out of stock, im wondering wether it would be cheaper and maybe even workout the same if i just somehow painted my rear ...
