Thanks for clarifying :-) The car is going in again in 2 weeks for its next 10k service so I'll ask them to re-check everything again.
They did install all OEM VW temp & pressure sensors so I assume there would be only one part number that would fit each location. Maybe there could be more than one ...

Re: P0197 error code - Oil temp sensor faulty - All sensors replaced but still getting error message
Thanks for the info John...
The oil pressure was not checked with an external gauge but my garage did replace all the oil temperature and pressure sensors while they were working around the engine doing their fault finding
i'll speak to the garage this week... As it stands just now, the oil temp ...

P0197 error code - Oil temp sensor faulty - All sensors replaced but still getting error message
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction… I’ve had my first issue with the car in 3 years and over 130,000 miles.
My 2020 Polo AW GTi+ has been running the Revo performance pack / stage 2 perfectly for well over 100,000 miles now and I absolutely love it.

This is my GTi+ company car and now completed mini project. It's an absolute pleasure to drive... To me, perfectly modified for a balance of sportiness, comfort and economy. Although the exhaust is definitely not to everyone's taste... Or my neighbours at 5am on a Monday morning

Re: Greg's Pearl Black GTI [Image Heavy]
Car looks amazing... great spec!
As attim says, not many remap options available for the DSG cars yet. I've been in touch with about 20 companies so far and also looked into uprating the physical components of the DSG with no joy yet.
The only option available at present is a remap from MTM down ...

Re: New GTI
When I collected mine, I took it straight round to the petrol station filled up and pressed the trip reset.....The button was solid and wouldn't depress.
I was driving the other day and I heard a little click from the dash. I noticed the reset button had popped up higher than usual. I pressed it ...

I wonder if you'd have to upgrade some drivetrain and fuelling components to deal with that, especially if you're getting loads more torque.
I'm not an expert but surely the little K03 would be close to it's limit towards 300 I reckon and you'd need to look at hybrids or ...

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
I've made a little progress with this today....
Spoke to a chap at QS Tuning based in Sussex. He says that they have a tried and tested remap specifically for the DSG7 and have applied it to a number of customers cars.
It's based on their partners product at MTM Germany:-

Re: RE: Re: New GTI
Gave my GTI a good clean, decontamination and wax over the last couple of days. Dealer prep prior to picking it up on 1st March was OK-ish but not not brilliant. I'm happy with it now. A few pictures;
Looks cracking m8, yeah dealers prep leaves a lot to be desired. Mine has fair few swirls, got ...

Re: APR Remap for Polo GTI 6c
Yeah, after a little bit of reading into the tuning boxes, it doesn't look like something that I'd be willing to risk.
Just a thought..... Could the car be e-Tuned and if so, what equipment would I need?
I used e-Tuning previously on my Mazda MPS with amazing results. I purchased the tuning ...
