Re: Gti tuning box
oh yeah sounds like you know adam well   Haha! I'd strongly recommend you think about this before you drop over £300 on something that could void your engine, turbo and gearbox warranty! What if you were involved in an accident because something went wrong with your car (and it was still ...

Re: New GTI
Hi all I'm interested in buying a one year old GTI and wondered what options packs people would recommend? Obviously it will depend on what's available when it comes to buying but I'm keen on the cruise/park pack and the sport pack (if possible). Just wondering peoples thoughts on these and/or othe...

Re: DSG vs Manual - opinions please!
At GTI International I went up against a stock manual GTI in my stock DSG GTI and I won. The gear changing speed in the DSG is quick enough to compensate for the reduced torque. One of the main reasons I got a DSG box was due to the gear knob, on the manual box, looking as if it was straight out of ...

Re: Alcantara heated seats
You're wrong, the alcantara and leather seats come with the 'winter pack' including the heated washer jets.MczZippy wrote:No, as it doesn't have heater washer jets. The headlight washers are a requirement due to the LED headlights.Scarum wrote:I wasn't aware the winter pack came with the Alcantara seats, is this true?

Re: RE: Re: New GTI
At least your dealer didn't leave you some small scratches and also tonnes of swirl marks! VW 'detailers' are absolute s**t. Always hammer home to em under no circumstances are they to wash it. Even put post it note on my steering wheel telling em lol Well unless my dealer wants to pay out another ...

Re: Sport suspension on 6C - How?
Interested in finding out how the chassis setting is changed when in sport mode. I assumed that the dampers setting changed as in my previous Scirocco but there do not appear to be any electrical connections to the main body of the dampers for this to happen. Anyone explain it or is the VW handbook...

Haha also have done this!
Can confirm all VW paddles (2015 onward) are a newer shape from the older paddles so new golf extenders will also fit

Will test this out in my 6c GTI DSG - usually get around 270-300 miles out of a £47 v-power tank so will fill up with 95 ron next time and report back

Re: Polo GTI 6C Sport button and DSG
Yes - you can engage "sport" mode with the button and then change into drive (D) rather than staying in sport (S) with the selector by moving it down as you would do normally.

Had my 6c GTI for around 3 months now and have noticed today that the hub is getting extremely rusty behind the center cap on one of the front wheels. It's just gone over the 5000 mile mark Has anyone else experienced this? What ...

260hp with just a box and intake? you got a dyno of that or just guess work There are half a dozen or so guys on the FaceBook page with the box and intakes that all have rolling road before/after prints. An intake alone rolling road tested gives 10-15hp gains No rolling road evidence of the box giv...
