OBD2 communication problem
Hey guys, In my GTi I currently have an engine management light on, an airbag light and my Aircon seems to turn itself on and off whenever it wants. I can't scan anything other than abs on the car to find faults as all I get is "link error". When I try to scan I can hear what sounds like t...

Re: Replaced Starter - Still Grinding noise
Hey mate,
Just seen your reply, got bolt out easy enough, took the whole lot apart and replaced bearing aswell as was old anyway and had a spare new one sitting around collecting dust.
Cheers

Re: Replaced Starter - Still Grinding noise
Not much left to grab unfortunately, yeah was gonna get a set of these, reckon they'd do the trick? Got the bolt moving ever so slightly with a little effort but all of a sudden the head went like chocolate... got it soaking in penetrating fluid overnight. Will also need a new bolt, don't suppose yo...

Its outer diameter could differ between manufacturers Hmm i suppose that makes sense, why is it the little bits are always the bloody hardest to fix haha il get under my car today...

Re: Rear lower shock absorber bushes
If i was to contact a company that does coilovers for my car, surely the bush size would have to be the same as any other company as it is specific to my car?alexperkins wrote:Probably two new rear shocks then im afraid
