Re: Car dented in car park

just hope they get a good match as a different colour door is going to stand out a mile

I agree, I shouldn't have to pay my excess, but I do agree with other people that as soon as an insurance company get wind that ...

Car dented in car park

I would attempt to avoid insurance if you can. Any thing so much as a call to them to discuss a claim regardless of fault will put up your premium for next year. If you can resolve it without going down that route it would be better

Re: Car dented in car park

Wow, that's horrendous! How hard did they bash it? Hope you go their reg info.

I can't advise too much, but as this is on a crease line, it might not be good news.

Tell me about it! The more I think about the more frustrated I get, I would have been calmer if they just gave me their details and ...

Car dented in car park

Unfortunately my polos passenger door was hit in the car park tonight (door swung open into it), nothing to major but has dented the door on the crease line.

Actually happened to be sitting in the car at the time, the party involved just walked off and said "sorry" dealing with that separately ...

Re: Bluegt A/C noise

I've also got a 65 plate bluegt that has started "hissing" and "gurgling" the past few weeks. Like Chrisshorter mine is still Ice cold, but the noise is driving me mad. It's due a oil service soon so will get it checked. Hope it's not a fault, and that a regas will make it quieter again :)

Interior LED Lighting

Hi All,

Looking to change the dull "Yellow" interior lights in my BlueGT to some White LED ones. Does anyone know what type of bulbs are required for the front and rear fittings & how to get the fittings out (I haven't looked... yet).

Any advice greatfully received.

Thanks

GVN60 Kenwood Nav

Hi all

Has anyone had the GVN60 Kenwood Sat nav installed? If so do you know where it is located under the dashboard. I know it's under it somewhere but can't find it to do a firmware update on.

Any advice appreciated.

Re: Polo 1.4 upgrade to bluegt worth it?

Couldn't agree more with the above, I went from a 1.4 SEL to a BlueGT still brings a smile to my face everyday. I also find that I save money on fuel due to the ACT and better economy. If you've got the option go for it :)

Re: Low fuel economy bluegt?

Hi all

Thanks for all your input, the issue is resolved now, dealer found that one of the sensor plugs had Broken slightly causing it to run rich.

Clip replaced and economy back up to mid 50's :)

Thanks again

Re: Low fuel economy bluegt?

Thanks for all your comments much appreciated. Slight development on the BGT, went to start it this morning and on comes the engine management light. Booked into dealers tomorrow for them to sort it out, service advisor reckons lambda or O2 sensor making it run too rich on fuel. Will post when I ...

Re: Low fuel economy bluegt?

It has been quite cold for the past couple of months or so. I've mainly noticed the drop in the past couple of week, the temperature has been slightly warmer in the last week or so than it has been.

Low fuel economy bluegt?

Hi all

After some advice please. My polo bluegt has been running at around 50-60 mpg which is great, however in the last few weeks the economy has dropped to high 30s very low 40s.

I've checked all the tyre pressures all of which are fine, it's recently had a dealer service etc. I can't find ...
