Re: Noise coming from glovebox
I've had/still have rattles all over the place. The most obvious one from the glove box was the handle vibrating against the rest of the fitting.

Re: Red GTI grille badge
Another option:
Remove just the letters from the plastic plate on the grille using fishing line (like you would on the boot) and then buy a boot version of the badge (i.e. just the letters) which you can then stick to the plate which is still attached to the grille.
I did it the exact same way ...

Re: Red GTI grille badge
Yep
Cheers, didn't fancy picking all the letters off each badge and being left with both in pieces!
Will I need to get behind the grille to remove it or is it a just case of being firm but gentle?
Hmmm - I was firm and not particularly gentle. With a dremel.

Re: Red GTI grille badge
So the original badge will unclip from the grille and the red one can be stuck on in its place?fivelittlefish wrote:I cut the clips off and used double sided foam numberplate tape to fix it.

Red GTI grille badge
Hi, I've seen a few people have swapped their chrome badges for the red ones. Just wondering if anyone can tell me how the fit them.
I've found the oem badges for both the polo and the golf but the clips on the back look completely different;
