I was reading over the post and I'm aware that JB1 adjusts fuel and boost to keep the AFR in line... well after looking at the photographs above if you have a look at the user adjustable settings and all of the fuel settings are set to 0.... so it seems that JB1 is a bit well.... i'll let ...

Rather that what oil. I'd be mote concerned about why oil.

Unless your engine runs at the limiter all day it shouldn't need oil that quick.

If you have checked the level properly, some can't. I'd be monitoring its use. Should not need filled after just 2000 miles

I was in touch a place in S. Africa who make downpipes. was working out at £200 + shipping.

This is wheel power. This was. Dp . Intake and cooler with the jb1 unit. You can set your map6 to your liking. My has lots of room for gains still.

Yes, this is not an opinion, I did a measurement with wheel off. Maybe not 312 but 310 - it's not easy to measure disc precisely.

Hmm. Anyone else measured theirs?

I get what you're saying about measuring not easy to be exact but I could clearly see mine were measuring a bit less than the Leon ...

Looks great for heat soak from the engine bay. Have you put some cold sir ducting to it from the front grill?

The standard airbox is very efficient on there cars. Bearing in mind its still a similar size as the golf R. Andvits sealed from the engine heat with a nice cold feed straight in!

Polo GTI 6C has 312mm front brake disc, not 288mm. At least on my car...


Funny you say that attim. I read thst the 6c had an upgrade over the 6r ftom 288 to the 312. So initially believed it.

However,I also have a Leon FR184 and measured the discs on it as the calipers look slightly different ...

Joe, having checked myself the discs are actually the 288mm not 312mm.

They are apparently easy to upgrade by swapping the carriers that hold the caliper. The caliper used on both sizes are meant to be the same so pad fitment is the same as 312. But the std discs are 288.
