So I got a nice message late last week from the dealer saying my build week has been confirmed at 20/06! Managed to get the sports pack/DCC onto the spec before it got locked in, so happy days. Kept the colour as white. All the nice pictures of Silk Blue GTIs almost swayed me though.

So, I've got the car back and have been told what the problem was..

I have order confirmation, 4 digit order number, dates for order, build and predicted delivery along with a retailer stating to check on the status every couple of weeks.

I've been trying to get any feedback from live chat the whole day... No success yet

Can anyone that got their GTi by now post your tracking order number so I can get an idea of what I'm looking for? Or send me a private message...?

I didn't get an order number from VW when I placed my order until about 5 days later when my salesman sent me a video update message with a number ...

You have seen this on your car...? Not read on the internet nor seen it on a video?

From what I've seen on a video, you can't really take the whole badge off because it's not honeycombed as the rest of the grille...
