dunno if they'll take them back afterwards, might just have to bite the bullet and get them, see what happens, if they dont fit perfectly, hopefully all they'll need is a bit of tweaking lol

Some people do a max drop of about 70mm, but 40mm is easily achievable with minimal if no rubbing on your wheels, depending on what wheels you have.choose of course :)

Good luck with your project

OK, cheers. I'll have a closer look at the weber when i get a chance and see what jets it has, also i'll consult my haynes carb manual to see cross reference the jets but if you could dig out the sizes aswell just in case that would be great. More Carb trouble

Well, kinda.

My automatic choke is jammed open (on a pierburg 1B3) making general running beyond terrible lol.

Whats the best thing i can do with it, get it fixed? fit a manual choke kit? or take the plunge and get a weber?

Cheers.

The quote i just got for my mk2 was through AA, they quoted me £246 TPF&T (im 28) To go just TP the premium went up to just over £300 :o

Insurance on my smart roadster is only £333 through CIS though, and thats a group 11! lol
