yep i agree, def sounds like heater matrix to me.

If it is then its not an expenisve part, however the labour costs can mount up as it requires the dashboard to be removed ( i think )

You can buy plug in heaters that power from the ciggy lighter........ temp fix....

Hmm i could wind the window down and sit it on the roof ( It has a magnetic base ) like the old cop cars.......

I'd love to hide the cable and stick it up beside my aerial... Others have said its still ok to stick it to your back window..

I'll try your way tim....is removing the headlining that ...

just got a sat nav and the reception is mince so got myself a 5m external aerial......

question is whats the best route ( and easiest ) to the roof from the dash?

Hmmm ok well i've bought it and find it hard to get a signal in built up Glasgow....

So if i buy and external aerial that magneticallt secures to the roof (I guess) ......where is the best exit point for the cable??

Front and rear windscreen

Does anyone know if the front and rear windscreens are coated in anyway??? athermancy or metal sintered is the terminology i think.

Getting a sat nav and apparently they are crap if your windows are coated??

Any help appreciated.

Anyone got a Navman icn 520??

Tyre problems :(

Tried to check my tyre pressures this morning only to find that the apparently "high quality" aluminimum caps have seized themselves to the valves.

Has this happened to anyone before??? If so what did you do??

I think the only solution is to have all the valves ripped out and replaced. This also ...

Wasnt too much - roughtly £24 and it was worth every penny. I did have to remove my aftermarket headunit first as it lipped over the din slot. That wasnt too hard and i was done 5 minutes later.

Can you not make your central locking work with one press = drivers door open, two presses = all doors ...

Not really to my taste mate, i woulda put the cash out on refurbing the old ones but thats what makes us all different. :D

Do you really use the cubby hole space? i bought a single din double cup holder off vag parts and fitted it myself - it was a doddle. Looks like this below
