Well I have taken the plunge and ordered a white R line 5 door 110PS engine with climate and convenience pack so should be picking it up next week. Got a decent trade in and money off the Polo so not much too much money to change. I would have changed last month when road tax was cheaper or even ...

Looking at a new Polo R Line 110PS TSI, as it is a 3 cylinder are there any issues with this as I test drove a Clio two years ago and the salesman apologised in advance that it would be a bit rough the Clio that is (Or would I be better off with a 6 month old Blue GT with 4 cylinders ?)

Went from up! White to Polo TSI 1.0 and I am pleased, overall much smoother drive.
I wonder though, what up! TSI would have been, but we really needed one more seat...

I'm very pleased of my own, there is no reason why you should avoid tree cylinders. It is newer, it is lighter, it is more 'sensitive' to use because lower friction internally, it is more efficient on fuel.
And last, but not least, it's got better sound and hey, it has bigger 'mugs' than in 1.2 ...

Any one past 55 (my age) is too old for GTI, so I got 1.0 liter 110ps wonder instead, or was it the price??? Hmmm, can't remember, must be my good but very short memory... :wink:
