Re: Polo GTI interior scratches
Much of the Polo's interior trim is hard plastic, which although hard wearing, is prone to scratches and scuffs from objects like keys. I don't think I would attempt to paint the plastic; you may struggle to find a plastic-specific paint that's the correct colour, and I suspect it'll be prone to fl...

Re: Service
No, you don't have to have your car serviced by a franchised VW dealer for the warranty to remain valid. However, if you are leasing your car, I'd check the terms of the lease as usually, the leasing company make it a condition that the car is serviced by VW. Not sure if this is also the case with ...

Service
My GTI is a year old in September. Well I've had it a year but it seems to be telling me now to get a service on it now. It's only less than 7k miles but I believe you have to get a service otherwise the warranty would be void. I'm looking at places such as In and Out who only charge £99 as oppose t...

Polo GTI interior scratches
My GTI is a year old and I try to keep it in immaculate condition. Just behind the gear stick, where the cup holders are, I've managed to scratch it a little when keeping keys in there. It's the black/grey plastic part and I'm just wondering if there's anything to use to touch it up. What kind of pl...

Alloys scuffed
I'm usually so so careful.
Have a 2016 Polo GTI.
Twice in three days I kerb'd it. Gutted. Nasty scuffs on front left and back left.
Had a quote of £80 per wheel for a full diamond cut.
Sound good?

2016 Polo GTI oil
Numerous oil threads but there's a lot of reading so thought I'd start a new one. Simple question. Does my oil need changing after 9 months? 5500 miles. I've never changed oil myself. Wouldn't have a clue how. The most I can do is fill the water for the wipers, lol. I do have a friend who's confiden...

Fog lights.....
My fog lights shouldn't be coming on when I indicate right?
Driving behind a friend in my GTI and he noticed every time I indicated it happened.

Nope. Definitely not that. I mostly notice it during the day when the sun is low.

Windscreen defect??
Had my GTI 2 months now. From day 1, in certain light, usually when the sun hits a certain angle, I see what at first I thought were marks that just needed wiping off. I tried wiping. But it still appears. Only every now and then as I said above. I saw it again this evening, this time parked up and ...

Re: Scuffed wheels
Hey guys. The only reason I was now thinking of doing it myself is because it's on two wheels. And so double the cost. I'll maybe speak to them and ask if it's any cheaper as they're only small scuffs and not the whole wheel..... Redline. Romax UK in Stockton. Google them. Highly recommended apparen...

Scuffed wheels
Had my GTI 2 months. After a few days I hit a curb in my local car park after getting a bloody parking ticket (wasn't a good day). http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161106/9e5423cdc72eb43c4d37bc25de1b2553.jpg The tyre I'm told is ok. Doesn't need replacing. The scuff not so nice. I was first quoted ...
