I have just looked at the technical data for the polo 3 cylinder 55 bhp.
The petrol tank holds 45 lts of which 7 lts is reserve.Which makes it 38 lts.
I filled the tank up drove 300 miles red light came on which i presume means i am on the reserve.So 38 divided into 300 is 7.89 acording to my ...

my polo has only got 4000 miles on the clock and I was allways led to believe that the more miles on the clock less mpg ie: worn rings etc. Still no stranger than the golf which was consuming oil and when i had it serviced the oil consumption stopped.I will have to look further into this

that is an absoloutly horrendous story and for the manufacture and main dealer to turn there back on you beggers belief. They obviously dont believe your story.Have you kept receipts or logs that were done on your car.You could need these as evidence.I know you must be upset and dont want to ...

Italians can certinally design a good looking car.and i really liked the Bravo.Trouble is they cant build them to the same spec as VW.Its only my opinion and at the end of the day i would rather have a VW than a Fiats(that is a good looking fiat by the way)

i had a conflab with my mates and the only thing we could come up with
is that the sevice history would not be from the main dealer Is this worth anything? Or as long as the car has got a full service history but not from the dealer is it worth anthing less? At volkswerk i could get the Vdub ...
