Two things really, can anyone tell me the name of or where to buy a socket piece that fits the star shaped nuts on the bbs wheels? I have tried my local car shop and Halfords but had no joy. I want to split the two rims, then rub down the outer rim and get the inner section re-spayed.

1 of my car use to either idle high or really low, rarely happened though but got it checked and my said itll probly be that. really annoying cos when it start idleing at 3000rpm at the lights, when u change gear it nearly burns your clutch out!

Well, passed MOT today with flying colours.

Didn't manage to get timing belt etc done as the guy was snowed under with cars today so will be done on tuesday.

As for costs, the parts were genuine VW parts and the were just over £140, cost of fitting won't be much as it's a mate who's doing it. 8 ...

i would prefer to go euro, smooth, low, dished rims. or like a set of schmidts or ronals...
think this still is best suited with silver cars though.

hi i got my Gti whan i was 18, went with elephant and it cost me £1400 when i was 18, just paid it again last month and im 19 now and it was £1000. best do it on the net, and try it more than once cause the price drops, plus put like your mum and dad on it helps.

Only reason I'm not gonna do it ...

not sure what that code is they rate your area by your post code but i do live in a quite high crime rate area!
