Interesting!
I picked up my new GTI in Nov 16 and have noticed this noise too. Its been to the dealer 3 times and they keep saying they are unable to find a fault. They also claim they cant hear any noise. I'll be booking the car back in and pointing them in the direction of this forum 8)
