I ve just done serach on mytyres and you can get the 185/60-13's for £5 less than the 175's. Are the 175's better because they fit easyer or is there something else?

cool, I ve got them, I got the carriers with callipers pads and disc's, so I am only bolting them to the hub

which bolts do you need? I ve got the callipers and carriers, thought I could just use the Gt ones to bolt to the hub??

I ve had two blue temp senders in now so I am happy its not that. I am not sure about the potnetiometer thingy, as the idle is good, apart from it cutting out completely every now and again.

The only similer problem I ve talked to any one about was a 20l granada with MPI, it would hesiatate if kept ...

It cuts out on light throttle, so doing say a constant 30mph it will shuddder and cut out (just for a second, like its 'missing a beat')

How can I till if its in service mode? you unplug it when its running right?

Okay-

My GT runs like s==t, It seems to be when the temp get to around 70 that it starts cutting out. This noramlly happen on low throttle and some times idle.

Ive tried diconnecting the lambda (the plus beside the manifold) and that make no difference. A new blue temp sender, no difference, new ...

yup, theres a how to guide on www.polo-gt.co.uk it uses a spare linkage from the unused wiper. it not bad not mine rocks about a bit.

Does any one else know of an article about improving GT Tb air flow, may be it was a dream but I am sure some one made fibre glass mods to the plastic elbow and filed some of the metal away around ...

Hardhitter, you suggested a de-wedging of the GT TB, whats you opinion of this mod?

Its just I have a pop riviter at the mo a, and for free it sounds like a nice touch.


The Gt does respond well to most tuning but as stated, what is to much to pay................................................
