oh, and a tip for taking of the glass of your lights, put the entire units in the oven, warm it up, take a dump while wainting, and your able to take of the glass more easily (I'm told to use a piece of fishing 'rope' to 'cut'/'saw' it of (saw through the glue which sticks the glass on the units)) ...

I was thinking of getting some new lights, taking them apart and spraying the very front part of 'em, as in the bits that aren't reflected from the lights but are in contact with the glass, know the bit i mean?

Yeah but doesn't the reflective stuff on the inside reflect the light from the bulbs? which bit do you mean?

Much better Thanks :) and colour code the lower lip spoiler :wink: Yeah i was going to but i decided id make it darker to go with the black/red theme i got goin on Oh and slam it on steeelies!!! They are steelies, with sprayed hubcaps - thats what im gonna do, as im a cheapskate! :D de-badged grill...

Err don't want to rain on your parade but I think it would be unwise to tint the headlights - As much light on the road at night as you can get is a good thing!!! If you want to get a smoke finish uniform accross the headlights and indicators get some headlight lens protectors and tint them for day...

Tinting spray + headlights

Whats the deal on using tint spray (like from halfrauds) to tint the headlights? I was thinking of buying a new set of lights (+ smoked indicators) and attempting to tint them to the same degree as the indicators (i mean the slightly smoked ones, not the full on black ones) Any ideas? Has it been do...

First, make sure it's the cam for a GT with enginecode 3F, or else it won't be of any use, only the 3F cam has 219 degrees, and is therefor the 'wildest' cam made by VW itself. And yes, theoretically you'll gain a lot, but due to losses of power in other parts of your engine just a cam switch will ...
