Re: Center Caps
As RUM4MO has said, there are some VW dealers with on line shops so you don’t need to take a trip to your nearest VW dealer. I’d always recommend buying genuine VW centre caps. Some of the cheap copies that you can buy on eBay are of dubious quality and tend to suffer from white worm corrosion, so ...

Re: Center Caps
Or, you could save a bit of money and your time by buying them from a VW dealer that has an on line shop - there are a few out there and they tend to give quite good discount and postage might even be free, you will need to give the part number of your current centre caps, that will be moulded into...

Re: HELP front wipers and washers not working 64 reg
Thanks guys. Checked fuse 8 as well in the engine and seems fine so doesn’t look like that. I’m on the move this weekend and don’t have tools to safely disconnect battery. Is there any way we can reset fault codes without disconnecting battery? Thanks in advance VagCom can clear it, not sure if a o...

Re: HELP front wipers and washers not working 64 reg
chances are, your car's computer still remembers a fault with itself.
So with the new fuse in, try clearing any faults and it should work

Re: New, whitter headlights and foglights.
I have Osram H8 Cool Blue Intense XenonLook 4200K bulbs in my fog lights, and there is no big difference between these and factory bulbs. When I had H7 headlights, I had white H7 bulbs: Xenon Look 4100K from Dectane (HERH7 55W) and the difference was quite noticeable, but you must know that with an...

Re: Coolant Problems
sorry, surfacing an old problem, but its FINALLY been fixed. The problem was due to the following: - A do-dad going into the exhaust manifold (sorry not very technical) - Water pumps spewing their guts up (very nice) So going on what was previously said, pressure tests where no use, because the cool...

Re: Happy 2018
Hah, thank you, you know that your help is invaluable, you know many things better than people in official Volkswagen's service. If it were not for your help, I would probably think about changing my boring car a long time ago. Thanks to you, it is not boring! If I didn't find this forum I probably...

Re: New, whitter headlights and foglights.
could be wrong, but i think as long as your using normal bulbs, your not really going to achieve a popper "white look" - i think the only way to achieve those results is with LED or xenon
