Re: Exhaust Needed
I did not know that but i cannot see if it has went through both layers unless it has only worn on top of the box, either way there is still a noise and my wheel bearings are fine, drums dragging slightly but still easily turnable by hand so i am not worrying. I probably should have said, i am more ...

Exhaust Needed
I posted a previous thread regarding my polo's MPG drop, after hearing a different note from the back of the car about 60mph i investigated tonight with the idea of either the wheel bearings, brakes or exhaust being culprits, Likely to little surprise all of the exhaust i could see was rusted to f*c...

Re: How to enable Bluetooth
well in that case you need to check whether there is a black box beneath the passenger seat, about 5" x 5", with a blue plug connecting it. RCD310 only has bluetooth via an external control module I have this but i have the same issue as benzin? i dont quite understand. if you have the mo...

Re: Sudden MPG change
I concede that the current weather and the winter fuel will have an impact on my mpg however i an dubious of it dropping from over 65+ to less than 50 now, it just seems to sudden and too big but unless anyone has any other ideas of what it could be then i guess i will have to settle for that. The h...

Re: Sudden MPG change
Winter weather means denser air, which means a far more efficient burn and actually gives better fuel economy as less fuel is required to make the standard burn/combustion

Sudden MPG change
usually my polo gets at least 60mpg just going to work and back, even dottering around town and likes, hell it even goes into the 70's on the motorways but the last few weeks it's dropped drastically, i can barely hit 55mpg on the motorway and town driving results in 35mpg. I have always used super ...

Re: New Guy Questions
So i unplugged the connectors from the door that was initially bringing the light on (front passenger), gave the wires the technical jiggle, all seemed well, plugged it back in, no difference, repeated for all door connectors with no difference :( There was no excessive damage from the hammering :P ...

New Guy Questions
Evening all! I'm new to the forum and a relatively new owner of a 2011 1.2 tdi, i just have a few questions as my knowledge of cars is terrible, i'm a biker not a car man but i am a motorcycle mechanic so it's a case of doing it once and i'll know it forever! My door warning light is on, permanently...
