In terms of modifying, i agree claiming all the mods for a 350bhp would leave a big hole in your pocket.
However putting a sports cat exhaust on with a stage 1+ remap shouldn't break the bank.

Re: Buying advice for a 6C GTi
I have recently just purchased a 6C GTI 3dr in Black and i love it after owning the 6R 1.2 TSI
Mine is a 66 plate, there are a few things i have learnt.
One of them being the alloys, i was lucky enough to purchase one that had the original wheels but sprayed black so didn't have to worry about the ...

Re: LED interior lights
Does anyone know the correct way of re-installing the rear dome interior dome light as there is a mounting bracket that goes above the headlining.
When i tried to do it on my previous 6R it was very difficult, do you just remove the clear lenses rather than just the whole fitting?

Re: 6c GTI Coolant Leak
Thanks for reply Dink
Unfortunately I am unable to get it to VAG specialist so having to take it to a rated local garage.
I want to make sure the right parts are put in it.
Is there a revised version of the pump that’s less prone to failing? Does anyone know the Part No?
Cheers ...

6c GTI Coolant Leak
Hi all,
Another day another issue with my 6c.
Noticed a small damp patch on my driveway this evening traced it directly below the front right of the engine bay. Cannot see anything from the inside. Coolant is below the line and was relatively full when I bought it 3 months ago. Need to get this ...

Polo GTI Steering Wheel Wrap and Removal
I have just purchased a wheel suede/alcantara wrap for my GTI 6C steering wheel.
I purchased from Diversion Automotive. Mk7 Golf GTI/R/GTD community seem to do this more looking on their forums but has anyone done this... i have a few questions.
Firstly, did you bother removing the steering wheel ...

Re: Polo GTI 6C Clutch Slipping in manual!?
Thanks Dink just need some suggestions on where to get it done in S Wales, sure my VAG garage would do it but they would probably want to use OEM parts.
Sounds like RTS is way to go.
Any suggestions on garages would be appreciated, heard IndigoGT were supposed to be pretty good ...

Thanks Dink, never heard of an RTS before. I’m considering a SACHS organic, how do you find yours is it manual?

Re: Side skirts 6C GTI Help
Apologies for late reply, thanks for this. Not too much on the internet searching this part number. Just had another look at it and its tell tale jack damage probably done by a previous garage.

Re: Side skirts 6C GTI Help
Does anyone know of any good VIN Decoders? I still have no luck with this and would like to see the rear of it to see if the brackets are the same as the Golfs before I snap something.
I’ve been suggested OEMEPC Or 7zap but they fail to return results on my VIN and also my friends.
Any ideas ...
