I took the charger off today - looking at what a service would involve. I suppose it's just seals and bearings - is this right?

Hi, I took the plunge and went for the one i'd been offered cheap. I definatly had the G40 smiles, I just couldn't believe the ammount of pull it has. It shocked me a little. The car is pretty standard inside and under the hood but it has a cat back exhaust which sounds nice - not boy racer crap but...

Thats a shame to hear mate. I've not had a new one but i've just rebuilt mine. It all depends on how the box gets treated tbh mate!

Mate thats a load of crap!

Is it whining?
Is it crunching when changing gear?
Is it rattling?

There is always some movement in the stick when in gear - newer boxes like the 9N is going to be a bit tighter
