Re: Driver airbag high resistance

Hi Iichel, Thanks for replying really appreciate it. Initially thought it was the airbag itself but seems that is not the case anymore. I had another look at the wiring and managed to get some more information from VCDS. When the fault was present with airbag in place VCDS measured resistance was 8 ...

Part number query - oil seal between engine block to ancillary bracket

Can anyone provide input on the part number in the picture item number 5? it is the oil seal between the engine block and the ancillary bracket.

Searched several parts sites to no avail.

Re: Clock spring / slip ring continuity queries

*edit* I don't think my car is equipped with ESP as there is no ESP switch on my dashboard but many thanks for the input.

Clock spring / slip ring continuity queries

My Polo 6R has a check light for airbag related fault so had the signal stalks/slip ring assembly taken down to test the slip ring continuity. From the VCDS scan log: 9437211 - Igniter for Driver's Airbag B1000 1B [137] - Resistance Too High MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear All steerin...
