Re: Passenger front seat issues
Hi, I had this problem with the driver's seat on my 2017 VW Polo Match 1.2TSI. I seem to remember using the handle under the seat to slide the seat backwards and forwards vigorously a few times and this sorted out the problem. Good luck, Keith.

Re: Boot Lock/Unlock
Hi, My 2017 1.2TSI Match Polo works the way that yours now does, unlocking the car doors does not unlock the boot and the middle button on the key fob has to be used to unlock the boot. I prefer it that way so that the boot is locked while I'm driving. It can probably be changed back to the way that...

Re: Tight gearbox
Hi, It occasionally happens on my 2017 Match 1.2TSI but it's so rare that it's never been a problem. It also occasionally happened on the Golf mk2 GTI, 2 Lupos and 2 Polos that I've previously owned. The worst was the Golf mk2 GTI which after a long motorway run followed by getting stuck in stop/sta...

Re: Buying advice
Hi, Like your potential Polo mine was registered in March 2017 and I can confirm that the tax is indeed £20 as that's what I paid after a year. As you correctly pointed out that changed on April 1st 2017, a lucky escape for me as it wasn't planned! My alloy wheels are 15" and my spare wheel is ...

Re: Buying advice
Hi, I have owned the identical year and month Polo since new, it's proved to be very reliable with no problems. I usually only do short trips and tend to get around 44mpg but this does improve on longer journeys. The only problem I have is with the drivers seat, for some reason I tend to end up sitt...

Re: Help needed,Starting to question my order, days before delivery
The 60ps Polo is non turbo, both the 95ps and 115ps have turbos. I used to drive a Polo 1.4TDI and now drive a 2017 (previous model) Polo 90ps, both have similar levels of torque with the latter having more horse power and I'm pleased with it's performance. When my car was in for a service I had a 6...

Re: Supermarket petrol
Thanks for your replies. I don't do much mileage these days so the extra cost of Shell over Asda petrol doesn't amount to too much over the year. The only issue being that the Shell garage is some 5 miles or so away and not so convenient. As I go to Tesco each week it I might try their Momentum 99.

Supermarket petrol
I have a one year old Polo 1.2TSI Match edition. Apart from when I've made a long journey and had to fill my car with petrol at whatever service station was most convenient I've been using Shell petrol (standard petrol, not V power) and the car's been fine. However as I was low on fuel the last time...

Re: Drivers seat creaking - 5 door 6R
I have a March 2017 VW Polo match edition 1.2TSI and my drivers seat started creaking recently. It happens when going over bumps and round bends in the road. It's also the most uncomfortable VW seat that I've ever sat on. I keep on finding myself sitting so that the left hand side of my back is on t...
