Re: Folding mirror unlock speed threshold

Ok. So I’ve figured it out. The reason my mirrors would not “follow” the “fold in when parked” setting is because I had the speed threshold setting enabled. Spiegelanklappung geschwindigkeitsabhangig, active. Change the above to active if you want them to only unfold above a certain speed (50kmh). I...

Re: Folding mirror unlock speed threshold

https://youtu.be/H5rhygWYGmw Maybe mine are just dumb coded lol, but what is the default behaviour with the fold switcher? Mine fold and unfold if I manully switch them whenever, regardless of the speed, but when switched to folded, they unfold only at 50kph. It seems to be 50 actually, not 60 (in t...

Folding mirror unlock speed threshold

So, I’ve retrofited the electric folding mirrors, everything is fine, aside one thing, when folded (switch left on fold state) , if I start driving, they automatically unfold at exactly 60km/h, and that’s a bit “late” if you ask me. Therefore I’ve tried looking at the BCM’s adaptation (thinking spee...

Module 55 - Headlight Range Security Access code ?

Hello! I’m wondering what could the security access code be for adaptation enabling under module 55 (headlight range). Anybody has any clue ?

I’m trying to change the triggering criteria (from engine start to ignition ) as I’ve just finished retrofitting the AFS.

washer tank hose part number

Hello! In the past hour or so I've been scratching my head trying to get a PN for the hose that goes from the washer tank towards the bonnet, through which you're filling up the tank. Mine had a crack in it for some reason and had to throw it away thinking I can just buy a new one. Should have just ...

Re: Polo 6C Rain Light Sensor DIY Help

Buddy. The channels you mentioned have nothing to do with the ones I quoted.
Your issue is the BCM which doesn't know about the RLS. Have it fixed at a dealer. Nothing we can do for you here.

Re: Polo 6C Rain Light Sensor DIY Help

Buddy, from your admap, in RT forums, it doesn't seem like your BCM supports RLS. You seem to be missing the following channels in 09. So, I would guess, no matter the sensor you're putting in, without the BCM sorted out, you'll have no luck. These are taken from a 2016 Seat Ibiza 6P 1.4 TDI DSG7 (C...

Re: 2011 Polo - CarPlay install - Help would be really appreciated

chilcake, you wont be able to do it, until you actually start doing it :) stop watching youtube videos and just wire those looms. I used to be like you, and it seems there's no plug and play solution. DIY is a lot more fun and takes a bit more time, at first, but then, you will be very proud of your...

Re: Polo 6C rear number plate lights

May I add to the discussion, concerning Polo 6R (I know the thread is about the 6C) it will need a small VCDS adjustment. I cannot speak for the 6C though. Nah, doesn't need it. I bought LED replacements for my 6C as well, they came with those resistors for the canbus error, but to my surprise, I'v...

Trying to find a 6R Rear Bumper code

Hello gents! I'm trying to replace the stock rear bumper I've got on my BlueGT, only issue is I just can't seem to find the appropriate code. As far as I can see, this would be my go-to option, but the seller does not reply so I can't find out the code of his bumber / back trim, given I need the PDC...

Re: 6C Halogen to LED Headlight Adaptor

You can use that one, if you don't want to deal with the cabling yourself, or, you can just take a look at the 6C WD and "re-map" the current 10-pin ( halogen connector ) terminals into the 14pin ( led / xenon connector ) terminals. It's way easier that way, and you only need a laser tool ...
