Good morning!
Stopped over at the local Timpson on hte ay home over the weekend and they scanned the key and it turns out they can't copy the key as it is a "magic 2" transponder.

Re: replacement/second car key
Hi guys,
That is not a photo of my key, not sure how to add to the site, but the same shape. On the one side it has a Huf logo and the other W3 HAA engraved.
Regards,
Colin

replacement/second car key
Good afternoon forumites!
I bought a Polo 9N 5th hand and only got one key. Is this easy to replace/get a second key?
The wife drove off to work with my key in her jacket and made me wonder, how would I go about getting to work if this key is permanently gone?
Thanks,
Colin

Banger rallies
Hi Guys,
I've seen a few different banger rallies where you do half the continent in a week in a car worth less than £500 (which most of our Polos probably are...) and it is a s**t and a giggle.
Have any of you done something like this? Is there a specific one to go for, or avoid?
Thanks,
C.

Hi Alex,
I'm not illiterate, but I'm more uncertain of the paneling and the route to take. I have a feeling that the panels won't be flush afterwards, etc.

Thank you Alex,
Would you know if there was a "how to" on the site for wiring?

Rear speaker wiring in 3dr
Evening all, Apologies for double posting, but it looks like the ICE section of the forum has less footfall than this section. I have a 3dr 9N which has only two front door speakers fitted. I'm looking to upgrade the sound and fit speakers in the rear panels. My questoin is whether there is already ...

Re: Coolant Leak- Polo 1.2 2004
Hey Padfoot,
My Polo went for a service and they found there was a leak at the bottom of the radiator, on the passanger side, where a pipe connects. The only solution was replacing the radiator.
Regards,
C.

Re: New Polo owner... What to do?
Evening guys, As someone in the throws of revamping a 9N 1.4bby, I'm in the same position. As for the bushes, I concur 100%, get it done ASAP. Mine came back from the garage last week and is great to drive again. As with any car project, I felt it was best to get it thoroughly checked out at the loc...

Re: Engine sound when pulling away 9N
Hi there,
Yes, the three cylinder engine is a little diesel-ish in sound. Even the newer Polos that are 3 cylinder are rather 'raspy'.

Hi Audicab26,
Did you ever find out about the rear speaker wires? Feel like upgrading the system but not sure if there is wiring in place already?
Thanks,
Colin

Re: Warning buzzer for headlamps/indicators
Hey Rum,
Not my post, but same issue. To answer the question, my driver's door does not trigger the cabin light but the passenger door does.
