GTI 6c Diamond Cutting
Has anyone had there wheels re cut? Mine are in awful condition and badly in need of a repair. I stay in the NE corner of Scotland but do a lot of time down in stirling including back and fourth to Manchester quite often too. Where in any of these areas or in between do the best job? On a budget too...

Re: 6C Sat Nav
I came across these instructions online: https://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/files/file/car/uk/Volkswagen-MK7-Golf-instructions.pdf If you scroll down theres instructions for the polo after a few pages, looks easy enough so going to attempt it. In terms of the TMC signal they charged £25 extra for...

Re: 6C Sat Nav
I've gone ahead and ordered one from that company in Dorset. After speaking with the owner on the phone he spoke through it very well and has given be a signal booster with the sat nav box. Only thing to be aware of is allow it time to arrive, he then has to order it in from Germany so looking at ov...

Re: 6C Sat Nav
The only issue I seem to come across is some people reporting that they have struggled to get a signal, as well as having to pay £75 a year for updates which seems crazy after such a huge outlay! Yes, I've heard similar rumours. As far as updates are concerned, they're presumably not compulsory and...

Re: 6C Sat Nav
Thanks for your very in depth replies. I have reaserched the kenwood system in detail and it looks very good, much like the standard VW one that can be chosen as an option. The only issue I seem to come across is some people reporting that they have struggled to get a signal, as well as having to pa...

6C Sat Nav
When i picked my car up last year it was one of the last 6Cs and I was too late to factory order so never got to chose what options I was getting on it. Starting to realise I needed sat nav more and more, is this an option I can have retrofitted at all? Or am I looking at a whole new headunit? Has a...

Re: Passenger seat Bolts
Thanks for your help, picking up four new bolts from Vw on Thursday £1.17 each can't complain. You're right parts manager mentioned they have adhesive on them, hoping I haven't destroyed the thread in the hole with forcing old ones back in. Will find out Thursday when if I can force old one's back o...
