Re: Comfort / Convenience opening stopped working
I stand corrected! For anyone who has the same issues (and one touch seems to be working as expected): https://www.fixya.com/cars/t24019148-resetting_power_windows_convertible_top To surmise, get in, shut doors, turn ignition on. Hold down all window switches until they reach bottom, then release sw...

Re: Comfort / Convenience opening stopped working
Thanks the the reply and help, but it seems not to be anything to do with one touch settings as these are working fine. Just to elaborate, nothing is working on the remote press - including the rear windows and pano roof.....

Comfort / Convenience opening stopped working [SOLVED]
Just realised that my Comfort / Convenience opening has stopped working. I just checked with OBDeleven and all is turned on (except the menu item, which I have now just turned on for good measure). I changed the battery a month or so ago, so maybe it could be related to that? Any help would be much ...

Re: Polo 6C MY17 GTI replacement battery
How did you and others recode for AGM, did you change battery technology from EFB to Fleece, or did you use one of the AGM options? It has been said on other forums, that it is the Fleece option that should be selected when changing to a normal AGM battery. Hmm good point, I hadn't fully read all t...

Re: Polo 6C MY17 GTI replacement battery
Turns out it was a Moll battery after all... If it helps anyone else, I got a Yuasa YBX9096 for around £125 delivered, then coded the change to AGM battery type using ODBeleven. All good now.

Re: Polo 6C MY17 GTI replacement battery
Thanks guys, great help. I might go for a YBX9096 YUASA AGM instead? Seems about the same price, though Bosch has longer warranty......

Polo 6C MY17 GTI replacement battery
Having problems with low battery and warning messages to dash. Been trying to charge with my old trusty charger but seems to start and run OK, but still warnings to dash and infotainment off. Just wondered if anyone knew what battery is in it as OEM and what to replace it with. I think a Bosch S5A08...

Re: Plug and Play Sound system (Sub and Amp)
Just a quick update... re-programmed the amp via the dongle (kindly provided by a forum member here), and for now it sounds a lot better (not sure if it is placebo affect or not). It seems most of the distortion has gone, and now just some panel vibration notable.... However, I am a bit perturbed as...

Just to follow up. I glued up the broken pedestal, then glue gunned around it too, and it all seems to have held....
Seems quite a few on eBay, so like stated, easy to change out if worst comes to the worst.

Re: A Pillar Trim Removal
It might be that if you can release at least the topmost clip completely you can push the trim downward and the other metal clips may then slide out of their pedestals.. I think you are right there, to be honest. It seems with some skill that you can release the top clip, and therefore theoreticall...

Re: A Pillar Trim Removal
Looking at it again, I suspect with some skill you could use a trim tool to slide the first clip (only) up and out of the enlarged slot (and by the same token out of the slot on the trim itself).
