Having issues with my car dsg not going through all the gears skipping to 2 to 4 to 6th and now the check engine light has come on anyone know why is it a possible tramission fluid low issue or something more major

Wondering if anyone has removed their mid box and if so how does it sound, does it give let off the DSG farts? Thinking on getting mine removed but wanted to know your thoughts on it.

Hi all
Just want some advice, I'm looking at a multifunctional steering wheel and a RCD510 radio, will it need a load of new/re-wiring or will it just fit and work with little messing around with. As my Polo is the SE model it's as it's in the name very basic.
Any advice is good advice
