Brake vacuum line
I have a polo 9n 1.2 e 55 bhp. I changed the air filter and knocked off a vacuum line, turned the engine on and it was idling rough and brake pedal was stiff. I opened the bonnet and found a rubber tube had fallen off, replaced it and all was fine. Once I checked again when it was light outside, the...

Sorry! I have the 1.2 55 engine. I'll look at the coil packs and throttle body on the weekend.

Revs bouncing
I have had my 9n for about a year, every since I've had it, if it's cold outside and im starting the car up for the first time and I tap the acceleratir, the revs bounce and the car judders. If I pull away straight away it bounces as in driving and then stalls and the battery light comes on. This ca...

Re: Power steering
Sorry for the late reply. I replaced the battery after testing the voltages. I believed it to be the power steering fluid which is below the battery in a very awkward position so I had to remove the battery anyway. The fluid was good so I replaced the battery, and tested the new battery. The problem...

Re: Power steering
Also, when the front and/or interior light is on and I steer, the lights go dimmer for a second , could this be something related to the power steering pump?
Thanks

Power steering
I have had my 9n 1.2 for 8 months. It only has 38,000 miles on the clock. Ever since I have had it, there have been 3 beeps when I turn the ignition on but no lights on the dash. Then after a couple of months it began to cut out when turning it on. Just today, I turned left out of a junction and the...

What spoiler is this
I own a 9n but I saw a 9n3 down my road with a spoiler that was almost shaped like an "n". The spoiler extended down either side of the rear window, it wasn't stupidly big, just a slight lip . Does anyone know what that's called and if it would fit on my 9n
Cheers

Re: Alloy wheels
I have a 54 plate 9n and I put aftermarket wheels on,
ET43, 15 inch by 7.5 inch with 195/50/15 tires and I have no rubbing at all if that's any help.

What wheel size can fit
I am looking at buying some alloys for my Polo, I am unsure what it means when it says "6j". The standard steel wheels I have say "5j". What is the maximum or minimum I could go with this j number?
Thanks

No paint code
I have looked everywhere online and I think the paint code sticker has fallen off/been removed, I also do not have the guide for the car, where would I be able to find my colour code.
Thanks

Painting the rear badge
Is there a way to take the rear badge apart to paint it as two separate pieces. I bought a spare one and painted the vw part black and then masked it up and painted the inside part silver. This did not go so well and was wondering if you can take it apart. I have tried looking and I can't find anyth...
