Therefore in order to identify input/output is safer to use a tester, right?

input ---> wire with current
output ---> wire with no current

(—) ground
(+) wire

Because of consumption when lights stayed on while I was checking vcds i think and I could not start engine because it did not stop anymore.

Hi, my battery is dead and I am charging it. I tried to start engine connecting battery to an other car but engine is stopped few seconds after start.
