Thanks guys. I’ll do the full bleed and hope that solves it.

Brake fluid cock up.
Hi. I Use the eezibleed for brakes/clutch. I recently did the fluid as per RF,RL,RR,RL and clutch. Problem is, I started RF then discovered the bottle internal tube was off. I de-pressurised and sorted, then continued and finished all bleeding. I now have spongy brakes! The question - can I re-bleed...

Brake lights
Hi. I believed I had a non working reversing light on my 2013 polo match. As it was not an MOT problem I have ignored it until recently. As the new (uk) MOT test examines reversing lights, I now believe I have only one reversing light on the left side. Is this correct and will it be legal in the UK?...

Re: front strut.
I should add that it’s a 13 plate. Clock is now just under 50k. The mot was two days ago. I’ll be DIY with the work so I was thinking it makes sense to “reset the clock” as you suggest. Been looking at Sachs and as you know, the cost mounts up. Just hope that I’m not tempted to stop at replacing the...

Re: front strut.
Yeah, 2nd hand at 3yrs and 36k. It had taken a bit of abuse. I’m aware of the labour involved in removing the strut. My question now - should I Renew strut, springs and all parts, or get a couple of bearings/rubber mounts (repair kit). Can I be sure the problem is in these bearings?

Re: front strut.
Any advice on how I can confirm/investigate this “advisory information”? My 2013 6r polo has an upper retaining nut, and stop plate retaining nut, could the “slight movement” be down to insufficient torque?

Re: front strut.
Ok, thanks. I’m looking at a strut repair kit but I will investigate first. I read that mot advisory can be a bit fickle.

front strut.
Any information appreciated.. - MOT advisory today; “Nearside/offside Front Macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)” is this solved with a Strut Repair Kit, or do I renew the struts? GT.

Re: Petrol injector cleaner.
Where I am the choice is between Tesco, Morrison’s or bp. It’s normally Tesco, and always 95. Maybe I’ll go the distance for a shell full tank and see how it goes. I’m a bit wary of fuel additives and have read a lot of negatives. No one seems able to say for sure if they are any good. Thanks, GT

Re: Petrol injector cleaner.
Hi guys. I’ve read the arguments for using ‘quality’ fuel before, but some say these are better suited to RS types. Mine is 1.4 match. I would like to know if there is any point in using injector cleaner additives or, as some say, they do more harm than good.? Is there any reason to choose Comma (fo...

Petrol injector cleaner.
Hi. Can anyone recommend or enlighten me on the pros cons of injection cleaner additives? I have noticed a slight fall in mpg and have had an ongoing glitch where I notice a delay in acceleration when I stop and move from a junction. Thanks, GT.

Re: 2013 polo 6r running lights
Wow, I totally get it concerning the insurance angle. I personally think headlights are overkill for drl’s But all things considered I’ll likely leave well alone in this case. Thanks for all your responses.

2013 polo 6r running lights
Hi all. Anyone know if CARISTA will allow control of said daytime running lights? I would rather not physically mess with the electrics. Thanks.
