Re: Random question for people who have Kessy (keyless entry) on their Polo

Is it possible to disable only the Keyless Entry part? Leaving the push to start keyless. Yes, if you have OBDEleven or Carista you can tell it that it doesn't have the modules for keyless entry, so you have to use the buttons on the remote, but the start button still works as normal, Thank you for...

Is there a perminent Stop start fix yet?

Hi all Been a while, I hate the stop start system, obviously I can switch Stop start off every time I start the car or change driver mode...which I do. Obviously the cars system is Auto start stop ON by default on start up. Following research it seems this system is never going to save enough fuel t...

Today I got suspiciously high mpg, especially coming home. I can’t believe a firmware fix changed the mpg, so either there is low air pressure or they changed the mpg computer algorithm.
what you getting currently?

Re: 18 plate polo with no problems to date!

update just gone over the 10k mark and all is running well. No system faults, long term average is reading exactly 50MPG after the semi winter here. I reset it after the summer so I think 50MPG winter driving is fine in a petrol car. I will reset now its spring to get a reading at the end of summer....

Re: How do people fund their new Polo

By the time any change takes hold and the infrastructure is built up to cope it will be another 5- 7-10 years. By then many of us will have changed cars and the way we pay for them. Given that the majority of people will charge at home, the infrastucture is already there. no not for the 300mile reg...

I'd illuminate the ignition key slot... I'm forever fumbling about for it in the dark!
I got Keyless. It solves that problem. The start stop button is well lit.

Re: How do people fund their new Polo

Who said PCP was crap?. I clearly wrote "FOR ME its all the PCP crap I don't want to deal with". To clarify for anyone wo cant be bothered to read a post properly before replying, its the process and the restrictions it puts up on one that annoys me and I choose not to get involved with. I am sure ...

Re: 18 plate polo with no problems to date!

Just carried out a fix to my arm rest. As I am the only driver I wen to a craft shop and brought a 1cm thick small section of dark grey neoprene and cut it to very small 2cm sq bits and glued then either side of the underside of the arm rest. it raises the arm rest by just enough to make it comforta...

Re: New Polo SEL

Been lurking for a few weeks reading up on all the topics on here! The wife was looking for a new car and over the past week we've been visiting different dealers and trying different vehicles. She was torn between the Polo, A1 & Hyundai i20. But in the end the Polo prevailed. Originally ...
